Born in Allentown, Christy attended Northampton High School, where she played softball, marched and played flute in band, and danced with Steps in Time of Allentown before graduating in 2011, her obituary says.
Christy then went on to attend Northampton Community College and play softball for Northampton AA and Allen Township, according to her memorial.
Christy had worked at Zoups in Allentown and Sheetz in Whitehall and was a current Paychex payroll specialist.
She also taught Sunday school at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bath and worked with Girl Scouts around the Upper Mt. Bethel area, her obituary says.
Above all, Christy embraced her role as a loving and caring wife and mother to her husband, Jake, and four children, children, Addyson, Everly, Ethan and Aiden.
In addition to her husband and children, Christy leaves behind her mother, Jody Anne Snyder; half-sister, Tiffany Stettler; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Peggy Snyder; paternal grandmother, Lois Padula; as well as numerous extended family members and close friends.
Christy’s funeral was held at Schmidt Funeral Home in Nazareth on Saturday, Aug. 20.
